Swinton Cabernet Sauvignon
2001 was a hot year with good yields and ripe fruit, producing a bigger, more intense wine than previous vintages. Unlike many Cabernets produced in the McLaren Vale, this wine was designed with food in mind, a medium to full-bodied wine showing fine grain tannins and good acid structure. Colin and Karel recommend you try to hang on to this wine for a few years, as it will cellar well and continue to soften and develop.
