The Victor Shiraz
85% Shiraz, 12% Grenache, 3% Cabernet. Generally fruit was picked later than usual due to the cooler summer. The final Alc/Vol of 14.9% is a result of this. The fruit took longer to attain full ripeness. We decided to source the fruit from other regions hence the label change to South Australia.

Their methods were an appealing mix of professionalism and ‘seat-of-the-pants’ stuff. Limited resources still meant borrowed equipment and winery space, but generous advice from people like Doug Bowen, Wayne Dutschke and John Monten helped a lot.
