JP Belle Terroir is a joint project of winemakers Trevor Jones and Chris Ringland and the Grateful Palate’s Dan Philips, using old-vine fruit from Ebenezer, the finest area in the Barossa Valley for Shiraz. It comes from what may be the finest old vine vineyard in the Barossa, and hence Australia, and it was conceived with a ton of love, camaraderie, and passion and the desire to make a very, very great and rare wine. The wine has spent 30 months in new French oak.
