This is a dessert wine made from air-dried grapes in a similar fashion to Italian Amarone methods. This method yields results with deep flavors and aromatics. The palate is an intense mixture of rich black current, cherries, raspberries, jam, and toffee apple. Subtle hints of dark chocolate and mocha. The flavors have good weight, are long, luscious and rich with a wonderful clean, crisp finish that lingers.
