Made from 15 year old Shiraz vines grown in the cooler Barossa Ranges. After picking, the grapes are semi dried. The wine was aged for 2 years in new French oak. The wine shows pepper, black olives and currants mixed with woody and floral scents. On the palate, this wine displays pepper, black berries, cherries with great integration of fruit and wood, nice tannins with a long finish. A big, bold, wonderful wine.
