If only my Grandfather, Gerhard Tscharky, could see his weathered and tough looking Grenache vines today. He planted the vines that have produced this wine during the worst drought my Grandfather ever experienced, 1965. The sweat that has been shed in this vineyard over the many years won’t be forgotten Pop, Cheers!
