Here is the first release of First Class Shiraz from Grateful Palate Airwines, made from 100% Shiraz grapes grown on 10 to 15 year old vines from some of the best regions of South Australia. The juice was fermented and aged for 18 months in a combination of new and one year old French and American oak barrels. The 2005 growing season had ideal growing conditions resulting in generous & concentrated fruit expression in the wines.
