Here is the first release of Boarding Pass Shiraz from Grateful Palate Airwines, made from 100% Shiraz grapes grown on 10 to 15 year old vines from some of the best regions of South Australia including Kangarilla, Blewitt Springs and Kalimna. Soil types vary from these regions and add complexity of flavor and style. The juice was aged for 12 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels of a variety of ages. The 2005 growing season had ideal growing conditions resulting in generous & concentrated fruit expression in the wines.
