Individual parcels of Shiraz from an old vineyard are the crown of the Barossa wine industry. Wild Witch vineyard, nestled in the Lyndoch Hills is one of these rare gems. Planted and tended by the same family for many generations, it has captured my imagination. The concentrated spicy peppery aromas of this dry grown Shiraz tamed after two and a half years in French Nevers and American oak are full bodied voluptuous and opulent. Each vintage will vary as to quantity because no blending will be done.
