Grapes come from an 8 year-old vineyard with the yields quite low (1 to 2 tons an acre). The 2005 vintage was dry with early season warmth. The wood treatment was 100% old oak with extended lees contact for 10 months. The palate shows earth and spicy clove, with a dark cherry nose. It has classic Tempranillo texture and length and is complex and balanced.
