WINE PORTFOLIO
Little by little, drop-by-drop, degree-by-degree, a wine is created and evolves, which takes time and patience. Vines growing in the ancient, Cambrian soil without irrigation, low cropping levels and traditional hand crafted winemaking techniques, ensures expression of the unique terroir of Heathcote. This wine’s personality admirably reflects its place of origin and its vintage expression.
The 2004 Red Edge Degree is a full-bodied Heathcote Shiraz, showing deep, dark, inky concentration on both the nose and palate.
Although designed for early drinking, through the softening influence of Mourvedre (12%) and the floral notes of a small Riesling component (3%), the 2004 Degree will continue to mellow and evolve in bottle for years to come.
