Above average rainfall in spring resulted in vigorous growth and warm to hot summer meant very ripe fruit at harvest. Spent 12 months in half older French Oak barriques and half new. Neither fined nor filtered before bottling. The hot summer finish intensified the fruit and gave high extract.
