Holly’s Blend has traditionally been 100% Verdelho. In the last couple of vintages we introduced McLaren Vale Chardonnay and Semillon to further enhance the flavors and structure. The 2007 vintage resulted in early ripening, with low yields. The Kurrawyba vineyard -a major component of Holly’s-provided tropical flavors. The Hoey vineyard contributed mineral, lime, citrus and cut grass notes to the wine, and the barrel-fermented Klaebe Chardonnay added a new element of complexity.
