Shiraz
Majella’s Shiraz vines are between 20 and 30 years old and yield around 3 tonnes to the acre. The wine was fermented and then aged for 22 months in predominately American oak hogsheads. Brick-red in colour, it has the warm spicy nose of the earlier vintages, with a robust palate showing great berry characters with hints of cloves, cinnamon, chocolate and black pepper. Soft tannins complement the long finish.
