WINE PORTFOLIO
Richard and Jessica Loan reside in an 1800's cottage on this certified organic property along Tanuda Creek, in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
This 100% Shiraz is traditionally dry grown on the front block; the Front Block soils range from dark clay to sandy loam, forming a gentle slope leading down to the creek. The 8 year-old vines are hand pruned to encourage low yields and allow plenty of air and sunlight through the canopy so the fruit may achieve its optimum ripening potential. This results in beautifully developed bunches consisting of small berries tendered by the season and the natural environment from which they are grown. The grapes are then hand picked, open fermented, basket pressed, and aged for 24 months in American oak barrels.
