Burge Family Winemakers, located in the historic town of Lyndoch in the southern part of the Barossa Valley in South Australia, produces a wide range of premium wines, from Draycott, a Shiraz made with fruit from 45-year-old vines, to the Wilsford Barossa Muscat, a dessert wine made with grapes picked from 70-year old Muscat vines very late in the season. Rick Burge creates all his wines from grapes grown on family property, where yields are consistently low. With the exception of the Semillon, he ages his wines in a mix of new and old French oak.
