Noon is located in McLaren Vale, south of Adelaide. The Grenache-Shiraz blend known as Eclipse is made from the Grenache vines planted on the estate’s sandy loam over clay back in the 1930s. The Shiraz component comes from 40-year-old vines in Langhorne Creek on the Fleurieu peninsula, where the Noons work a vineyard on a long-term contract. Langhorne also the fruit source for Noon’s Reserve Shiraz and Reserve Cabernet. Winemaker Drew Noon’s wines typically spend 18 months in a combination of French and American oak.
