Tim Smith, who has worked in several wineries in South Australia’s Barossa Valley, is now making limited quantities of wine under his own label. An admirer of Rhone wines, he has released a blend that is 50% Mataro (or Mourvedre), 33% Grenache and 17% Shiraz, as well as a classic Barossa Shiraz. The fruit comes from low-yielding mature vines, some as old as 90 years, in the Barossa and Eden Valleys.
