The Willows Vineyard is located at Light Pass in South Australia’s Barossa Valley on property that has been in the Scholz family for 160 years. Peter Scholz’s Semillon, which won the International Wine Challenge Best Semillon Trophy in London in 1995, is made with grapes from vines his grandfather planted in 1936. The Grateful Palate also handles two Willow Shirazes, including Bonesetter Shiraz, named in honor of the first Scholz to settle in the Barossa.
