WINE PORTFOLIO

Paringa is the Riverland winery owned by David Hickinbotham, whose Clarendon vineyard in McLaren Vale supplies grapes for some of Australia’s most famous wines, including Penfolds Grange. Riverland is inland, on the Murray River. It is hotter and drier, with well-draining sandy soil over limestone, but irrigation has turned it into one of the country’s major grape-growing regions. Paringa uses fruit from the large property for the Paringa Cabernet, Merlot, Shiraz, Sparkling Shiraz and a white blend of Chardonnay, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
